I packed up my bags and left the States to spend the holidays with my family in Canada last month. Best idea ever. Well, it was my mom’s. She was half-serious but I took it and ran with it. She knew I needed to get away and I did, too. So I’m here with my siblings and we are living the LIFE. Lots of laughs, lots of outings and yes, lots of end of the year reflection. Soul-baring, really.
Knocking things out on your to-do list is more than satisfying; it’s almost therapeutic. How awesome is it to grab a pen and check off item after item, especially in one day? It makes you feel powerful, invincible…like you are your very own Superwoman.
And you are.
Turnaround. Merriam-Webster defines this term as: “the action of receiving, processing, and returning something.”
In our vernacular, we’d call it “comeback game.”
Hey guys, Medge here again! This time coming at you from my Stockton University dorm room, in complete disbelief that it’s my senior year!

Lately, I haven’t had the strength to write. It’s actually taking me forever to write this post and it’s so unfamiliar since I typically zone in and can write anything.
I’ve been doing a lot…like, running around preparing my baby sister for prom (which she absolutely slayed). I’ve been doing my church duties, friend duties, daughter duties and all the while trying to juggle my retail job, remote job, website and relentless emotional and spiritual tests. Thankfully, my list includes fun stuff, such as driving up to Canada last week for a family wedding and flying down to Georgia for another the month before. Those getaways have been so needed because I’m obsessed with my family and it brings me joy to be around them.
However, I am still.going.through.
Have you been seeing your favorite natural hair influencers sporting something that looks like a beanie but then again can be worn as a bonnet? I have! Up and down my feed, continuously. After seeing so many ads, I wanted to give it a try. Outside of my precious bundles, I am #teamnatural and I’m always looking to try out anything that will protect my curls!
