Let’s talk about the trend, thoughhhh. It’s been around for decades and from the looks of it, it does not seem like it’s going anywhere!

However, with our evolving fashion, there have been upgrades. Upgrade such as these! Patchwork, double-breasted, light, dark, faded – you name it. Even if you’re not a denim girl (like me), there’s one that best fits your personal style.

Since denim is so casual, jeans are not for this girly girl. I typically go for the dress. I teamed up with SHOPBOP to share some of my favorite finds.

Regardless of if we can afford them or not, we can remake these looks or hey, wait for them to go on a mega sale!

The first denim dress is my absolute fave, can you tell? I love my “chill” dresses to be structured and with a fun element, like fringe! I love how the model dressed it up with some glossy booties and fedora. Way to dress up a dress-down.

I would totally wear this little number on a mall day. Easy to slip on and easy to slip off, so why not? The two front pockets are clutch for your keys, cards and other small essentials — I wouldn’t even bring a bag along with me to weigh me down. I like being free when shopping haha. I love how the small frayed edges add some dimension to the simplicity of the dress.

Asymmetrical, light and medium wash? Yes, please! This dress is a mixture of every girl’s taste. I was particularly drawn to the strips – the long lines elongate the body and also just reminds me of stylish flaps of tape haha.
