It’s 3:38 am, I just finished a project but I’m also still very wired and up for some writing. As I lay in bed, I closed my eyes asking God what message I should send your way.

“Do it anyway,” is what made my eyes fling right open and my fingers work at rapid pace.

Guess what I’m here to tell ya?

That’s right, do it anyway.

I have a funny, little story I just thought to share…I’ve been trying to shoot this look for months now! On the day I finally got the opportunity to do so, I got RAINED on. Not no came-through-drippin rain, not this little trickle like you see here — it poured. on. ya. girl. (And no, rain was not on the forecast)

I could’ve given up as I watched my hair shrivel to oblivion (and I probably should’ve, considering my new camera out in that rain ?) but I stayed until I got the money shot.

Moral of the story? Allowing circumstances to dictate your mission will run your life. Weigh out your options — then, execute anyway.

I’m not sure what you’ve been working on or what you’ve been thinking about creating but I’m here to tell you that your time is now. Do it now.

There is a call over all of our lives and if we don’t take heed — if we are not sensitive to the seasons we’re in, we’ll be waiting forever for that one thing to come into fruition. You may say you’re waiting on this or that…but quite frankly, the world is waiting on you!

I see a window of grace set aside particularly for your gift at this present moment, that you need to act now! I feel a sense of urgency — the good kind. I believe this is a moment where we all need to be excercising the muscle God has trained us with in previous seasons.

There will be obstacles but this is your time.

Family said you can’t?
Do it anyway.
Your bank account laughing in your face?
Do it anyway.
Your mind telling you no?
The Spirit says, “YES” — do it anyway!
