Whoa. Here lies a look that was supposed to be posted over a year ago! I remember the day clearly – I was on campus and had no class so I hurriedly shot this look! I found it in my archives while scrounging for material to tell you girlbosses about this amazing program I wish I knew about when I was in college! It’s called the Wellesley’s Contemporary Women’s Leadership Program.
Yeah I know. When you think “Wellesley,” you think “Wellesley College,” as in queen of all things women, right? Me too. And guess what, they want you to be a part of it!
What is the Wellesley’s Contemporary Women’s Leadership Program?
It’s a five week program that mixes women’s leadership, gender and diversity in the workplace in ways we millennials could understand and utilize. The goal is for students to study today’s issues we women face in the workplace and to also study the paths of influential women leaders. It’s a perf opportunity for those of you who want to build on your bidness (go you!), healthcare or any other journey you’re on — with a liberal arts point of view at #1 ranked U.S. women’s college. I know, goals.
Who can apply?
Are you a young woman in your sophomore, junior, or senior year of undergrad? Then, get on it! You’ll be learning from major players of the Wellesley College Faculty and other boss practitioners in the field. And, you’ll be having the full-on experience as a Wellesley student by living on the gorgeous campus surrounded by inspiring women such as yourself!
If you need to convince your parents, tell em you have the option to take two Wellesley College undergraduate courses in topics related to women’s leadership for college credit! If you need more convincing, let’s just say world-class shopping may or may not be involved…oh, and Boston museums, theaters, sporting events, and historical venues, too!
The future is female.
Women are powerful, but we already knew that. A Summer@Wellesley will help you grow in that power!
What are you waiting for?!
I knew you’d want in. Take your leadership to the next dimension and apply here, girlboss!
