Okay, so who’s happy that fall is around the corner? Yeah, you know this girl is.

So much so, that in collaboration with Banana Republic, I decided to share an easy transitional office wear look that you can try!

This pretty blue knot blouse is probably one of my favorites from their fall collection. The fabric is silky smooth and I just love the knot detailing. The shade seriously makes me feel like a breath a fresh air — almost like I can conquer just about anything! Fun fact: did you know that the color blue manifests confidence and inner security?

Well, it does. I remember learning about that in an old psych class haha.

The skirt is also courtesy of Banana Republic. I love the fun approach on the typically simple pinstriped print. Yes, tulip skirt for the win! It’s business appropriate and fashion-forward at the same time.

Now, although these pieces are new, you guys know I’m all about recycling old looks in order to recreate something refreshing. If you have difficulty creating a whole new wardrobe for office wear, take a look at Banana Republic for inspo. No seriously, they’re like the work wear mecca for chic girls lol. While browsing the site, you’ll find pieces to splurge on, I’m sure. But you’ll also quickly find that you already have super cute items that you can use — like that light summer top you’ve been workin’ all summer! Pair with a heavier office-appropriate skirt and maybe a blazer (if you really wanna conquer).

For all my millennial graduates who are heading into a new job, check out these cute pieces below! Oh, and don’t forget — you got this!
