Welcome to the new Adorned in Armor! Did ya miss me?

I know I missed you all! Your sweet comments and reposts and likes and all that good stuff serve as major motivation to keeping this site of mine up and running, so as I was away, I was all like “what is life?” Haha okay, it was more like, “what is my site?” Throughout the transformation, I took the time to reevaluate its purpose and figuring out ways to bring about my vision. One thing that has remained the same is the authenticity. Me to you and you to me. So thank you for being real and supporting me throughout this journey.

I’ve learned so much about your interests through your feedback on my blog survey. I’m happy I have such a diverse group of readers from several ethnic backgrounds with one overall goal: to live life on purpose and to slay everything that comes your way spiritually, mentally – stylishly! My “About” page goes into every more detail of my site’s mission.

Since I now know what you like and what you want to see on AIA, I’ll be going back to posting twice a week. I pray I can keep up! It would be a great help if you still haven’t taken the survey and want to tell me what content would best help you. (SB: For those of you who were asking, my old posts will be returning shortly – I haven’t yet added them on!)

Great things have been happening behind the scenes and I can’t wait to share (hint hint: brand sponsorships). It’s truly an honor to see Adorned in Armor be recognized by some of my favorite shops and I’m so incredibly grateful. I’ve got a new logo (@graceandhoney) and new layout (itiswelldesigns.com) and I’m feeling quite legit haha. It’s definitely a blessing to see how far I’ve come in this blogging journey and again, I’m incredibly grateful for my designers, my friends and family and of course, you. And so I hope you stay a long. I’ll be having more style posts, more collaborations and tons of inspo that you’ll love!

I shot this look back in January and it was freezing out (so if you see goosebumps, that’s why guys lol). I saw this dress on sale at H&M and had recently purchased those booties at my job at ALDO and knew exactly where I wanted to shoot — the tennis court! With my awesome siblings in tow, we blasted some Bieber and I danced away the cold. I’m ecstatic with how the photos came out and knew I had to save them for my launch.

There will be a lot more of these! (Literally, tomorrow.)

So don’t forget to recommend my site to all of your amazing friends. Oh and like my Facebook page (it’s new – yay!), follow my Insta, and Twitter. I would love to connect with you.

I’ve found my niche, now I pray my niche continues to find me. It would truly be a dream to continue to build this supporting army of slaying, purpose-driven fashionistas.

Birds of a feather flock together, right?
